2025 Officers by unanimous vote- President- Michelle Davis, Vice President- Barbara Pinkston, Treasurer- Enoch Elliott, Asst. Treasurer- Loretta Crowder, Secretary- Michelle Gentry

Arty Green, Jeff Johnson, and Tina Warren – declined

Tina Warren addressed concern that the bylaws needed
to be updated due to the length of time an office can be held.
Motion by Stephanie Green and 2nd by Arty Green.
A committee will review the by-laws and make recommendations to the board.

Report from Business Manager – George Middleton- no report

Report from General/Finance – Enoch Elliott (contact of information) Report accepted with questions 1. When did we pay the attorney- in the initial mtg. 2. Why do we have a spectrum phone?

Michelle Gentry gave the report for the Holiday Dinner.

Report from President and Vice President- Michelle Davis gave the report.

  • Marathan will be coming to the corner of Lima/Georgetown
  • Tyler & Shayla will follow up on the Taco Stand who are renting the space next to the liquor store.

Honey Child for 2025 St. Martin’s Day $2000 requested.- motion passed

Tuesday, November 19th Food Pantry Time: 12:00 – 2:00 pm

The St. Martin’s Village Neighborhood Association Holiday Dinner will be Saturday, December 14, 2024-Location:
1033 St. Martin Avenue Door Open at 5:00 pm – Dinner will be served at 6:00 pm

Community Inspired Lexington Annual Community Toy Drive 11/15-12/13/24. All proceeds will be donated to
Community Families for further information contact Ms. Rebecca Webb at (859) 693-6436. Link to apply is
available on www.communityinspiredlex.com.on the event page.

December Food Pantry will be on Tuesday, December 17, 2024 Time: 11:00 am to 2:00 pm

Dilworth Foundation Clothing Giveaway November 20*’ Time: 2pm to 5 pm Bingo with

Blake Anderson Triple Crown Management will resume on Wednesday, March 5, 2025 at 6:00 pm

Guest: Senator Reggie Thomas and Bruce Simpson

Bruce Simpson’s remarks-

  • Gave overview and update on the rezoning issues.
  • Vice Mayor Dan Wu was the only opposing member at the rezone meeting. Does not mean that he disagrees with the zone change, but it doesn’t mean he doesn’t need to hear from the neighbors.
  • The next hearing is Tuesday November 12th at 6:00 pm in council chambers.

Reggie Thomas-

  • Encouraged all to get out and vote on November 5th.
  • Prall-town Planning Committee will meet again in 2 weeks on October 24th. At 1:30 pm.
  • Talking to the neighbors about the park tax.

Report from 2nd District Councilmember – Shayla Lynch-

  • Oct 16th Stem Academy- Traffic issues, renovations to Coldstream
  • Planting party
  • Georgetown Road approved for expansion widening from Spur to Kerney starts in 2025.
  • Black & Williams close to completion due in November 2024.

Report from the Police Department – Officer Ryan Holland

  • Grace Apostolic Church vandalized by a homeless man living behind the Circleview Apartments.
  • Speed table to be installed on Don Anna this fall.
  • We will collect new signatures for additional speed bumps and the state will be called to clean up the vacant lot at the top of Lima Drive.
